This 1/24 scale model kit from Hasegawa replicates the classic 1969 Isuzu Bellett 1600GT. A detailed plastic assembly kit, it is designed for hobbyists interested in vintage Japanese automobiles.
The parts fit together with almost no flash, which surprised me for a kit this old-school. I've built a few vintage Japanese cars in 1/24 and this one captures the Bellett's proportions way better than I expected.
The chrome bumpers and grille detail on this 1/24 kit are sharper than I expected for the price. Took me a weekend to assemble and the panel fits lined up nicely with barely any sanding. Perfect little shelf piece for anyone into vintage Japanese cars.
The body lines really capture that 1969 charm, and I was impressed by how well the chrome trim pieces fit onto the front grille—no flash to clean up. It’s a satisfying build for anyone into vintage Japanese tin, and the detail level makes it worth the time.
