Category: Scale Model Kits
This 1/12 scale model kit from Hasegawa recreates the Suzuki GSX-R750(H) (GR71G) in detailed plastic parts. It is designed for hobbyists who enjoy building and displaying scale motorcycle models.
The front fairing fits together so cleanly that I almost didn't need filler, and the decals for the GR71G livery sit perfectly over the panel lines. Even the tiny chain links are molded with real definition. I've built a lot of 1/12 bikes, and this one captures the late-80s GSX-R proportions better
Took me a full weekend to assemble, and the fairing alignment was spot-on with zero gaps. The plastic quality is excellent—crisp panel lines that make the decals pop.
The engine block detail is what sold me—every fin and bolt head is crisp enough to look real without a lick of paint. Panel lines on the fairings are shallow and clean, so primer actually sticks where it should. I've built worse kits at twice the price, and this one's been a joy on the workbench all
