This 1/24 scale model kit from Hasegawa lets you build the iconic Lancia Stratos HF in its distinctive “Chardonnet” racing livery. A great addition to any scale model collection, this kit captures the aggressive lines of the legendary rally car.
The Chardonnet livery decals are printed crisply and settled down beautifully with a little setting solution—that iconic red-white-blue scheme really pops once it’s on. Interior tub detail is surprisingly sharp for the scale, so even before the body goes on it looks like a proper little race car. Ca
The panel fit on this Hasegawa kit is impressively tight, which made the Stratos's boxy shape come together without much fuss. The Chardonnet decals settled down nicely over the curves with a bit of setting solution, and the result looks sharp on the shelf.
The "Chardonnet" decals are the star here—they lay down flat over the body lines without silvering, even on the tricky nose section. Panel fit is tight, and the engine detail snaps together cleanly enough that I actually finished it in two evenings.
