This 1/24 scale model kit from Hasegawa lets you build the Mitsubishi Galant 2.0 DOHC Turbo VR-4 RS. It is a detailed plastic model kit for hobbyists interested in classic Japanese performance cars.
The hood and trunk panel lines are crisp enough that panel-line washing is actually optional. Fit on the body was tight with minimal flash, and the engine bay detail under that VR-4 hood is a nice surprise for the price.
The decals for the RS trim are sharp and the turbo piping detail really pops once painted. I spent a full weekend on it and the body lines are crisp, no flash to clean up which was a nice surprise. This kit nails the boxy 90s look perfectly.
The 1/24 scale captures the boxy VR-4 RS lines perfectly, and the plastic parts fit together with barely any sanding needed. Took me two evenings to get the chassis and engine bay sorted, and the DOHC turbo detail under the hood is a nice touch that makes the build feel worth it.
