This 1/72 scale model kit from Hasegawa features the Kawasaki T-4 trainer aircraft with the "Egg Girls Rei Hazumi" theme. It is a plastic model kit that requires assembly and painting.
The decals for the Egg Girls theme went on way smoother than I expected for a 1/72 kit, and the panel lines on the T-4 fuselage are nicely crisp. Took me a couple evenings to assemble and paint, but the finished size looks great on my shelf next to other trainers.
The little Rei Hazumi figure that comes with the kit is sharper than I expected for this scale, and the panel lines on the wings are nice and crisp. Fit was solid overall, only needed a touch of putty at the wing roots. Fun weekend build if you like egg planes.
The decal sheet for Rei Hazumi is surprisingly detailed for a 1/72 kit, and the T-4’s canopy fits snugly without much sanding. Took me a weekend to build, but the result looks sharp on the shelf next to my other trainers.
