1/72 Mitsubishi G4M1 TYPE 1 ATTACK BOMBER (BETTY) MODEL 11 RABAUL Front Line Inspection w/FIGURE

The little ground crew figure really sells the whole Rabaul inspection scene—it's a tiny detail, but it makes the Betty feel like it's being prepped for a real mission. Cockpit detail is surprisingly sharp for this scale, and the clear parts fit without glue drama.

The panel lines are crisp enough that panel washing takes no effort at all, and the Betty’s distinctive long fuselage really dominates once assembled. The included inspection figure adds a nice sense of scale to the Rabaul scene, though I’d grab extra paint for the canopy framing.

The little pilot figure really sells the inspection scene, and the panel lines are crisp enough that a wash brings out details without fighting the plastic. Fit was tight on the fuselage halves, took a bit of sanding but worth it for that distinctive Rabaul look.
