The panel lining on the 1/72 scale really brings out the detail on the wings, way sharper than I expected for the size. Everything fit together cleanly with almost no sanding needed. Yuki Kei's colors pop nicely on the shelf next to my other Harlock kits.

The panel lines on the Yuki Kei Special are crisp enough that even my shaky hands didn't need much cleanup, and the decals for that white-and-red scheme sit flat without silvering. Took me a relaxed weekend to finish, and the cockpit detail is surprisingly sharp for this scale.

The box art alone is worth the price, but the real treat is how faithfully it captures the Yuki Kei Special’s livery—every stripe and marking is crisp. Assembly took me a patient weekend, and the fit was snug enough that I didn’t need much filler. It’s a striking centerpiece for any Harlock shelf.
