The little signal arms snap together cleanly, and at 1/80 scale they sit perfectly alongside my station platform without looking oversized. Assembly took a patient evening, but the detail on the ladder and lamp housing makes it worth the effort for any diorama builder.
Finally got my hands on this re-run and the molded detail on the signal arms is crisp enough to paint without any flash clean-up. The 1/80 scale sits perfectly next to my other rolling stock, and the base plate has nice pre-drilled holes for easy mounting on the diorama.
The instructions were crystal clear, so assembly was a breeze, and the finished signals add just the right amount of realism to my 1/80 diorama. The detail on the signal arms is surprisingly sharp for such a small kit.
