Love Live! Hasu no Sora Desktop Figures: Kozue vs Kaho Guide

Two similar figures, one clear difference

The Kozue Otomune figure and the Kaho Hinoshita desktop figure come from the same SEGA Desktop x Decorate Collections line, both based on Love Live! Hasu no Sora Jogakuin School Idol Club. They share the same display purpose and manufacturer. The main decision is which character you want on your desk, not which figure is technically superior.

The catalog descriptions are brief. They confirm character, line, and manufacturer, but they do not list dimensions, materials, age ratings, or included accessories. Treat those as unknowns until you see the packaging or a retailer listing with full specifications.

What the catalog actually confirms for each figure

• Character: Kozue Otomune (product 515382) and Kaho Hinoshita (product 515347) are distinct characters from the same series. Choose the one you follow or collect.
• Product line: Both are part of the Desktop x Decorate Collections line, which the catalog describes as ideal for desktop display. This suggests they are intended as small display pieces rather than large-scale figures.
• Manufacturer: Both are made by SEGA. The Kozue listing explicitly calls it an official SEGA product; the Kaho listing states manufactured by SEGA.
• Display intent: The catalog says both are designed to brighten a workspace or display shelf. Neither listing gives a base size, pose height, or mounting method.
• Price: Catalog prices are USD 22.78 for Kozue and USD 25.50 for Kaho, with a comparison price of USD 34.00 shown for both. Prices can change, so check the current listing before ordering.

What the listings do not tell you

Neither product record includes dimensions, weight, material, age recommendation, or specific care instructions. That means you cannot confirm from the catalog alone whether the figure will fit under a monitor, how much shelf space it needs, or whether it has small parts that require adult supervision. If those details matter to you, look for the manufacturer's packaging information or ask the retailer before buying.

The records also do not list accessories, interchangeable parts, or a display base. Do not assume any are included. The available variant evidence shows only a Standard option for each, with no additional attributes.

How to choose between Kozue and Kaho

• Pick by character loyalty: If you already collect Kozue Otomune or Kaho Hinoshita merchandise, start with that character. The figures are otherwise presented with the same purpose and manufacturer.
• Check the current price: The catalog shows Kozue at USD 22.78 and Kaho at USD 25.50, both against a USD 34.00 comparison price. If budget is tight, the Kozue listing is currently lower, but confirm before checkout.
• Consider a pair: Because both are Desktop x Decorate figures from the same series, displaying them together can create a matching set. The catalog does not confirm scale compatibility, so check actual sizes if pairing matters to you.
• Wait if you need full specifications: If you need exact dimensions or age grading before purchase, the supplied records are not enough. Ask the store or check the box.

Display and care basics for either figure

The catalog gives no specific care instructions, so these are general display habits rather than manufacturer directions.

1. Choose a stable, dry spot: Keep the figure on a level desk or shelf away from direct sun and moisture. Both listings describe desktop or shelf display.
2. Avoid crowded edges: Place it where it will not be knocked off. The catalog does not confirm a base or stand, so do not rely on one being included.
3. Dust gently: Use a soft brush or cloth. The records do not specify material, so avoid harsh cleaners or solvents.
4. Keep packaging for reference: The box may carry age and material details that are missing from the catalog. Hold onto it until you have noted what you need.

The honest trade-off

These are affordable, officially licensed SEGA display figures with a clear character focus. The trade-off is limited published information: you are buying for the character and the Desktop x Decorate line, not for confirmed poseability, accessories, or detailed specifications. If you want either Kozue Otomune or Kaho Hinoshita on your desk and accept that limitation, the choice is straightforward. If you need full technical details before buying, the supplied catalog does not provide them, so verify with the retailer.
