Takane Takamine 1/6 Scale Figure Display Guide

Quick answer

To display the Takane Takamine 1/6 scale figure effectively, place it on a sturdy shelf at eye level, use soft lighting, and keep it in a dust-protected case to preserve its details.

Display steps

1. Choose a stable, level surface: Place the figure on a solid shelf or display stand that can support its weight. Avoid edges where it could be knocked off. Check that the surface is completely level to prevent the figure from tipping.
2. Position at eye level: Set the figure at roughly eye level so you can appreciate the dynamic pose and facial expression without craning your neck. If the shelf is too high or low, adjust the display height for comfortable viewing.
3. Use soft, indirect lighting: Illuminate the figure with a soft LED spotlight or ambient light. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can fade paint over time. Test the lighting from different angles to minimize glare on the figure's surfaces.
4. Protect from dust: Place the figure inside a display case or on a shelf with a glass door to reduce dust accumulation. If using an open shelf, dust it regularly with a soft brush. Consider a display case with UV protection for long-term preservation.
5. Allow breathing room: Give the figure enough space around it so the dynamic pose is not crowded by other items. This helps the figure stand out as a focal point. Rearrange nearby items if they block the figure's silhouette.
