The Nendoroid Katsuki Bakugo U.A. Uniform Ver. rereleases in October 2026. Here is what buyers actually get, who should preorder, and when a prize figure fits better.
Quick answer
If you want the My Hero Academia Nendoroid of Katsuki Bakugo in his U.A. School Uniform, this October 2026 rerelease is the version to buy: it is the same Good Smile Company Nendoroid, now available again at the catalog price of USD 58.10 instead of the USD 83.00 comparison price. Choose it if you collect Nendoroids or want a small, expressive Bakugo for a desk or shelf. Skip it if you want a larger, budget display piece, where a prize figure like the Takina Inoue STREET SNAP at USD 23.25 makes more sense.
What the rerelease actually changes
A rerelease is not a new sculpt. The Nendoroid Katsuki Bakugo U.A. School Uniform Ver. is the same Good Smile Company figure that was previously sold, produced again and scheduled for October 2026. What changes for you is availability and price: the catalog lists it at USD 58.10 against a comparison price of USD 83.00, which is the gap that opens when an older Nendoroid is only available from resellers.
That matters because Nendoroid prices tend to drift upward once the first run sells out. If you missed the original release, this is the cleanest way back in without paying a marked-up secondary-market price. If you already own the first run, there is no reason to buy again unless you want a second copy for a different display or to keep one sealed.
How to judge the value against other Bakugo options
The honest tradeoff is size and presence versus poseability and expression. A Nendoroid is a small, chibi-proportioned figure built around interchangeable parts, so you get a compact Bakugo that reads clearly on a narrow shelf and can be reposed. A prize figure is typically larger and fixed, so it fills more visual space but you cannot change the pose.
Price is the second axis. At USD 58.10, this Nendoroid sits well above the prize-figure tier. For comparison, the Lycoris Recoil Takina Inoue STREET SNAP prize figure is listed at USD 23.25 against a USD 31.00 comparison price, and the Fate/Grand Order SPM Foreigner/Abigail Williams (Summer) re-run is USD 24.14 against USD 34.00. Those are different franchises and characters, but they show what the same money buys outside the Nendoroid line: more figure for less, with less articulation and no parts swapping.
If your shelf is already crowded with larger scale figures, the small Nendoroid footprint is an advantage. If you are starting a display and want one statement piece, a prize figure usually gives you more physical presence per dollar.
What to check before you order
Confirm the release date and the version name. This listing is specifically the U.A. School Uniform Ver., not a hero-costume Bakugo, and it is scheduled for October 2026. If you are matching an existing collection, check which version you already own before adding another Bakugo.
The catalog does not list option types for this figure, so treat the exact accessory lineup as unconfirmed here. Nendoroids from Good Smile Company generally include swappable face plates and optional parts, but do not assume a specific count or a specific effect part from this listing alone. If a particular accessory is the deciding factor for you, verify it against the official product page before ordering.
Ordering early is the practical move on a rerelease. Rereleases exist because demand outlasted the first run, and the same demand tends to absorb the new run as well. Waiting until after October 2026 usually means paying reseller prices again.
Decision rules for this Bakugo Nendoroid
- You collect Nendoroids or My Hero Academia figures: Buy the U.A. School Uniform Ver. at USD 58.10. It is the same Good Smile Company Nendoroid as the original run, so it slots into an existing Nendoroid shelf without a scale or style mismatch. Best fit for collectors who already own Nendoroids.
- You missed the first release and only see marked-up listings: Order the rerelease rather than paying reseller prices. The catalog comparison price of USD 83.00 is the kind of premium that builds up once a first run dries up. The rerelease is the cheaper route back in.
- You already own the original Bakugo Nendoroid: Skip it unless you want a second copy. A rerelease does not add new parts or a new sculpt, so there is no upgrade here. No reason to double up.
- You want the biggest figure for the lowest spend: Look at the prize figure tier instead, such as the Takina Inoue STREET SNAP at USD 23.25 or the Abigail Williams (Summer) re-run at USD 24.14. You trade poseability and swappable parts for size and a much lower price. Prize figures win on size per dollar.
- A specific accessory is your deciding factor: The catalog does not list option types for this figure, so confirm the exact face plates and optional parts on the official product page before ordering. Verify accessories first if they matter to you.
