Thinking about buying a case of Blue Archive PtZ Big Acrylic Stand blind boxes? Here's exactly what you get, how the box-of-40 works, and whether it's worth it for collectors.
Quick answer
A case of the Blue Archive PtZ Big Acrylic Stand ~Happy Valentine!!~ Vol.1 contains 40 individually wrapped blind boxes, each with one large Valentine's-themed acrylic stand from the game. Buying the full case guarantees you get every design in the set without duplicates — but only if SEGA's case assortment is complete.
Why a full case matters for blind box collectors
Blind boxes are exciting but frustrating when you keep pulling the same figure. A case (box of 40) is the most reliable way to complete a set in one go, assuming the manufacturer packs a full assortment per case. SEGA typically does this for their acrylic stand series, but it's not guaranteed for every wave.
The Valentine's theme means these stands are seasonal — if you miss this release, finding them later at retail price is unlikely. That makes the case option more appealing if you want the whole set for display or resale.
What you actually get inside each blind box
Each individual box contains one large acrylic stand with a Valentine's Day design featuring characters from Blue Archive. The stands are larger than standard keychain acrylics — these are meant for desk or shelf display. The box itself is sealed, so you won't know which character you got until you open it.
Since this is Vol.1, there's no prior wave to compare against. If you're hoping for a specific character, buying single boxes is a gamble. A case removes that uncertainty — but only if the case is a full set.
Decision rules for buying a case
- Rule 1: Buy the case if you want the full set: SEGA's acrylic stand blind boxes usually contain one of each design per case. If you need all characters for a complete display or collection, the case is the most efficient path.
- Rule 2: Buy singles if you only want one or two characters: If you only care about a specific character, a case is overkill. You'll end up with 39 stands you don't want. Trade or resale is possible, but it adds hassle.
- Rule 3: Check if the case is a sealed master case: Some sellers break cases and sell partial boxes. If you're buying a full case, confirm it's factory-sealed. A repacked case may not have the full assortment. Ask the seller before purchasing.
- Rule 4: Consider the per-unit cost: At the catalog price of USD 689.43 for a case of 40, each stand costs roughly USD 17.24. That's competitive for a large licensed acrylic stand, and cheaper than buying 40 singles at full retail.
